ABT Sportline makes a point of putting together an upgrade package for every single Audi model that comes out of Ingolstadt, even if it’s just a facelift. This new ABT Audi A8 is based on the latest iteration of the luxury saloon and it gets a whole range of new goodies.

Starting with the exterior, ABT Audi A8 gets a chin spoiler that complements the stock front bumper and gives the car a more purposeful look, complemented with side skirts and a revised rear apron. Other contributing factors here include smoked lights, new tailpipes, 25mm lowered ride height, and a set of ABT wheels available in different sizes and colors.

As for the mechanicals, ABT offers a decent power upgrade kit for every engine in the range. There guys are very thorough. The 4.0 TFSI V8 engine which is the most popular engine for the Audi A8 is boosted from 435 hp/600 Nm 540 hp/720 Nm; the efficient 4.2 TDI diesel gets a bump from 385 hp/850 Nm to 430 hp/920 Nm, making it a more logical choice over the V8 petrol; and the not so good 3.0 TDI V6 gets a boost from 258 hp/580 Nm to 300 hp/640 Nm.

Already the 2014 Essen Motor Show has seen its most incredible car: ABT Audi TT. This magnificent little sports car upgraded thoroughly by ABT Sportline looks seriously formidable wearing that body kit and the unique black and red paint job.

But there is more to the ABT Audi TT than just a pretty – or rather angry – face. The tuner has picked the 2.0 liter TFSI model for this treatment which comes 230 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. That engine has undergone extensive modifications to pump out 310 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque in this car.

Visual features are equally impressive, what with the custom bumpers, front and rear aprons, all sort of spoilers and diffusers, grilles, side skirts, mirror caps, awesome 20-inch ABT wheels and ABT sport exhaust system with custom tailpipes. To top it all off, ABT has given this TT a fantastic paint job with metallic black as the base, garnished with red accents and stripes.

ABT Audi TT is part of a large display of customized VW Group cars by the German tuner at this year’s Essen Motor Show, including a 730-hp Audi RS6 and a highly modified Golf R.

Yesterday we looked extensively at three of the finest cars Audi tuner MTM is bringing to this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Now let’s check out the offerings of the other prominent VW Group tuner, ABT Sportline, beginning with ABT VW Passat B8.

This heavily tricked-out version of Volkswagen’s benign station wagon packs lot of swagger and an equally impressive punch. The looks of the family wagon is enhanced no end through the use of a subtle yet effective aero kit, consisting of a front spoiler lip, grille, side skirts, mirror caps, rear skirt diffuser, and roof spoiler.

The styling package on ABT VW Passat B8 is complemented with a set of 20-inch ABT FR wheels, customized for this car with a black-painted corpus and front-polished double spoke. Backed up by ABT suspension springs with just the right amount of lowering, these rims looks seriously cool on the car.

As for the engine, thanks to ABT’s special engine control unit with its own software, the tuner has been able to boost the output of the Passat’s 240 hp diesel engine, presumably its most popular engine, to 280 horsepower. That is a good gain, considering the force behind it is a few lines of codes.

ABT Sportline’s second Geneva debut, after the Passat B8, is this awesome Audi TT called the Gunmetal TT because of its unique wrap. ABT Audi TT is based on the 2.0 TFSI turbo model which right off the bat, gets a serious boost in power.

ABT engineers managed to increase the power output of the TT’s brilliant little four-banger from 230 horsepower to 310 horsepower with 440 Nm of torque. Given the fact that the TT is a quattro four-wheel-drive car, the extra grunt will have a profound effect on its performance.

But power and performance are not the only good things about the ABT Audi TT. The car is also upgraded in terms of handling thanks to ABT suspension springs and stabilisers, 20-inch ABT FR design with Continental tyres in 255/30 R20, and ABT sport brake system with 6-piston callipers (disc size: 370 x 35 mm).

The tuner has not forgotten about the looks, providing the TT with an offset spoiler lip, fixed rear wing, rear skirt diffuser, and ABT exhaust system with black tailpipes and lasered ABT logos.

ABT’s third and final Geneva Motor Show-bound car is a seriously good looking and seriously powerful Audi RS6 Avant. But this car may not receive a very warm welcome at the show because inevitably it is going to get overshadowed by MTM’s 760 horsepower RS6. But ABT Audi RS6 R has something else going for it and that’s the styling.

While MTM’s offering is more powerful and, since it’s 80 kg lighter, faster than ABT Audi RS6, the latter is a lot better looking, if only for the fact that MTM’s car comes with a terrible wrap whereas ABT’s is wearing a super cool “Daytona grey matt“ paintwork. What’s more, the RS6 R features a whole host of carbon fiber aero parts.

The main highlights of the carbon aero kit on ABT Audi RS6 R include the front spoiler lip, air inlet trims including flics, side skirts, side blades, the rear skirt, mirror covers, fender inserts and the rear spoiler. They are complemented with a set of 22’’ FR alloy wheels.

As for the power, ABT Audi RS6 R’s 4.0 liter bi-turbo V8 engine is upgraded with an ABT Engine Control unit and a custom stainless steel exhaust system, and as a result makes 730 horsepower instead of the standard 540. Height adjustable suspension springs and high-performance tyres by Dunlop have the daunting job of keeping the car in check.

So you would think that here and now we are going to review the cars for you and tell you about their intimate details in order to make up for the show. Well, not exactly. This post, too, is about those lovely ladies. We’re sorry, but it is physically impossible to care about the some car when there is a blonde in a pink dress sitting on it!

As for the cars in these pictures, we have the 730 horsepower ABT Sportline Audi RS6 R, the 310 horsepower ABT Audi TT Gunmetal, and the 280 horsepower ABT VW Passat.

Those who fancy a fast, handsome estate car have one obvious choice and that is the Audi RS6. But if that car is too powerful, too handsome, or just too damn expensive for your taste, the next logical choice would be a souped-up S6. And this ABT Audi S6 Avant is the best one of that.

There isn’t much on the outside by the virtue of which you can tell this car is a heavily tricked-out version. ABT Audi S6 Avant only gets a set of 21-inch wheels which to an uninterested eye look like the car’s stock rims. The suspension has been substantially lowered as well, but that is even harder you notice.

Inside the cabin there are more telltale signs that this car is something special, and not just because of the LED shift lights on the steering wheel or ABT floor mats. Once inside, you get to drive this car and that is when you notice it has a lot more oomph than a normal S6.

The 4.0 liter bi-turbo V8 engine in the ABT Audi S6 Avant has been revised by the tuner using new software as well as modified intake and exhaust systems. As a result it now makes 550 horsepower which is a hundred more than the standard and enough to give the car a top speed of 290 km/h.

Audi specialist ABT Sportline has released a new upgrade program for the new Audi TT. Showcased here on a Roadster version, ABT Audi TT comes with subtle styling upgrades and a fairly substantial power kit for the 2.0-liter TFSI engine.

On the styling front, ABT Audi TT benefits from a revised front bumper with sportier intakes and grille, new mirror caps, side skirts, rear diffuser with quad tailpipe design – blacked out of course, and a fixed rear wing. There is also a set of ABT rims, available in different sizes and colors, although the one you see in these press pictures are probably the coolest of the lot.

Performance-wise, ABT Audi TT 2.0 TFSI is upgraded using software trickery to develop an extra 80 horsepower on top of the standard output. That means the car now makes 310 horsepower which is enough to take the sports car from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. Lowered suspension and high-performance tires make sure the car stays in check in spite of the added oomph.

As always, ABT can also hook you up with interior mods such as branded floor mats, sport pedals, and unique steering wheel. But the new TT has a good enough cabin not to need any of that.

Courtesy of ABT Sportline, the diesel version of the new VW Touareg has received a fairly thorough upgrade package with serous sporty flair. The good-looking ABT VW Touareg TDI is packing a clean 290 horsepower, a tighter chassis, and a unique body kit.

On the styling front ABT VW Touareg TDI benefits from revised front and rear bumpers garnished with custom front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and side sills, plus an ABT front grille and headlight bezels. The kit is complemented with a set of ABT wheels available in sizes 20 to 22 inch in diameter.

Another modifications contributing to both the styling and the performance of the car is the sport suspension system consisting of, depending on the model, sports lowering springs or ABT Level Control electronic module. Interior upgrades are limited at the moment to fancy floor mats.

As for the performance, ABT VW Touareg TDI is equipped with a new ECU software for its 3.0 liter turbodiesel engine that comes in form of an electronic box of tricks. It increases the power output from 260 horsepower and 580 Nm of torque to 290 horsepower with 650 Nm of torque.

As usual, ABT Sportline is the first tuner to come up with a proper upgrade package for a brand-new Audi model. The model in question this time is the 2015 Audi Q7 and ABT has designed a complete styling package to welcome it into the family.

The giant SUV receives a major makeover in this treatment with completely new front and rear fascia and new sills. However, the tuner has respects Audi’s authority when it comes to the shape of the signature front grille and has only garnished it with new inserts, leaving the instantly recognizable shape intact.

The ingredients of ABT body kit for the 2015 Audi Q7 include custom front bumper with new air intakes and grille inserts, front lip spoiler, side sills and skirts, flared wheel arches, revised rear bumper with integrated diffuser and new tailpipes, and a new roof spoiler. The sills are painted in a contrasting color to the paint job so as to boost their visual appeal.

Another highlight of ABT Audi Q7 2015 is the new set of 22-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 305/30 R22 tires specifically tailored for this vehicle. The tuner is also working on performance upgrade packages for all the engines in the range, but they are not ready yet.

ABT Sportline is THE place to go if you want your Audi to be equipped with a whole lot more power without compromising its top-notch quality and fine-tuned efficiency. The latest project by these tuning experts is the ABT Audi TTS which is ready to hit the roads unleashing an ungodly amount of power – for a small coupe, at least.

If we cut to right to the chase, ABT Audi TTS packs 370 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque – figures that are, respectively, 60 and 80 more than what you get from the standard 2.0 liter TSI engine in the TTS. And they have been achieved using nothing but a few lines of code, i.e. a new map for the ECU that alters the default factory settings.

Performance-wise, ABT Audi TTS is now capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds. It has better in-gear pull as well, but since ABT has not mentioned anything about removing the top speed limiter, we assume the car will tap out at 250 km/h.

As always, ABT’s performance upgrade kit for a new Audi is accompanied by a neat and simple styling package. The TTS gets a revised front grille, a new front spoiler, mirror caps, and a tall rear wing. A wide range of 18, 19 and 20 inch wheels is available, plus sport suspension and exhaust kits, unique exterior wraps, and sport interior elements.

With their upgrade program for the new Audi S3, ABT Sportline has not only outdone themselves, they’ve set the bar so high, it’s not going to be moved in a hurry. The new ABT Audi S3 Sedan comes with 400 horsepower… from a 2.0 liter four-banger!

Mind you, the standard S3 comes with 300 horsepower, so a large part of the kudos goes to Audi for making that brilliant 2.0 TFSI engine in the first place. Still, ABT has done a great job extracting another 100 horses from that tightly packed motor. The performance figures for ABT Audi S3 stand at 400 PS, 480 Nm of torque, and 0 to 100 km/h in under five seconds.

As usual, ABT has not done much to the exterior save a new set of wheels and custom grilles. ABT Audi S3 Sedan looks pretty classy rocking the tuner’s 20-inch rims in matte black. It also sounds sweet, what with the ABT stainless steel exhaust system with chrome tips in place.

You can have this package for the hatchback version as well, or better still, for the TTS. ABT already has a 370 PS package for the Audi TTS, but 400 is a rounder, more appealing number.

If you are shopping for a high-powered hot hatchback these days, you are in luck because not only do you have great standard factory choices, the tuners too are showing a particular interest in this segment, the result of which is some seriously exciting cars. ABT Audi RS3 is one of them, and it packs 430 horsepower.

That is a huge amount of power in a car the size of RS3. But those who are familiar with the works of ABT know that they have actually held back. When they start working on an Audi engine they can’t stop until the push it beyond what is deemed possible by the average tuner.

In the case of ABT Audi RS3, the output is upped from 367 hp and 455 Nm of torque to 430 hp with 530 Nm. That extra oomph is translated on the road into a 0 to 100 km/h time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h which is 30 more than the default limited top speed.

As always, ABT has refrained from messing too much with the exterior design of the car. All ABT Audi RS3 gets in that aspect is a set of wheels (ER-F and ER-C Design in 8.5 x 19 inch or 9.0 x 19 inch and “Gun-Metal“, “Silverbullet“ or “Black Magic“ finish), and ABT muffler system with four black end pipes.

The ABT-tuned version of Audi RS6 was unveiled last year, but it is still the hottest high-performance wagon in the world. Sadly though, we don’t see that many ABT Audi RS6 R models out in the wild. And this one we found in a showroom, which doesn’t count.

This car being in a showroom means that soon somebody will buy and then it will grace the streets with its hawking presence and tire-shredding power, teaching supercars four or five times its price a lesson they won’t soon forget.

This black ABT Audi RS6 R is on sale at Car & Car showroom in Italy, boasting the full treatment the German tuner offers for the sports wagon. It features a complete carbon fiber body kit consisting of front lip spoiler and winglets, side skirts, and rear diffuser with integrated tailpipes, plus a set of ABT’s classic turbine design wheels, also in black.

The best feature of ABT Audi RS6 R, however, is its engine. It is the same 4.0 liter bi-turbo V8 unit you find in the standard car, but ABT has upgraded it from the standard 540 to a massive 730 horsepower. Come to think of it, this thing might be THE perfect car. It’s got looks, power, luxury, quality, and room for your dog in the back!

Although Audi’s own Individual department have created some truly special cars over the years, roving they are one of the best in the personalization business, if you want something even more exclusive and classy, check this out. This is an ABT Audi RS6 further customized and “Individualized” by the tuner.

The main highlights of ABT Audi RS6 Individual, in terms of visual features, include a candy gloss red paint work, gunmetal turbine wheels, and a subtle version of ABT’s aero kit sans the naked carbon flaps and winglets we are used to seeing on their normal models. The car also comes with a unique interior featuring gorgeous brown leather complemented with contrast stitching, beige inserts, and Piano Black trim pieces, as well as sport steel pedals and fancy floor mats.

In terms of performance upgrades, ABT Audi RS6 Individual can be had with any one of the various power kits the tuner offers for this model. The one you want is, obviously, the full-fat version with 735 hp and 920 Nm of torque. ABT Sportline is a very popular brand in the Italian tuning scene with its own dedicated dealer and service center. They are now celebrating this mutual passion in the company’s 120th anniversary with a one-off model called ABT Audi RS6 R Edizione Italiana which is, to all intents and purposes, the sickest RS6 in the world.

If you are looking for anything special in this car besides a couple of tricolore emblems and plaques, you are going to be disappointed. That is not to say ABT Audi RS6 R Edizione Italiana doesn’t get any unique features, but that it’s not as Italian as one might hope. The main purpose of this one-off is to show off what ABT’s Individual department can do in fulfilling the customers’ wishes.

ABT Audi RS6 R Edizione Italiana boasts a very black exterior – though not black enough – featuring the tuner’s carbon fiber aero kit which looks somewhat obscured because of the paint job. It also comes with a set of two-tone 22 inch ABT rims, carbon fiber interior trim, and leather and Alcantara upholstery with Italian flag embroidery. Of course all these details are customizable by the buyer. Being a RS6 R, this Audi packs 730 horsepower and a custom exhaust system.

One of the hottest cars German tuner ABT Sportline has ever built, which is not surprising considering they built it to mark the 120th anniversary of their brand, is the ABT Audi RS6 120 Years Edition. But this car doesn’t get much press which might have something to do with the fact that it’s limited to only 12 units.

But luckily we stumbled upon one of the 12 ABT Audi RS6 120 Years editions sitting in a showroom in Italy, and so we decided to bring you this up close and personal look at this gem of car. This thing is so special on so many levels, one does not know where to begin. It’s an RS6 which is a pretty dope base to begin with, then it’s tuned by ABT, then it’s given some special “120 Jahre” touches that makes it ultra exclusive.

The cues are subtle though and you need to be an aficionado to spot a ABT Audi RS6 120 Years out in the wild. There are telltale sign to help you with that, like the unique carbon fiber flaps on the front bumper which look like the mustache of a medieval French count, or the side vents on the front wings, or the Alcantara wrapped interior. But what really sets this car apart is a heavily tuned V8 engine developing 735 horsepower and more than 900 Nm of torque, giving the car a top speed of 320 km/h.

ABT Sportline has released an upgrade kit for the Audi A4 wagon, adding a little pep in the family estate’s step. Dubbed AS4, the new ABT Audi A4 benefits from a serious upgrades for both diesel and petrol variants, as well as enhanced handling.

Engine-wise, ABT Audi A4 3.0 liter turbodiesel model is upped by the firm’s excellent engineers from 272 hp and 600 Nm of torque to a much more exciting 325 hp with 680 Nm of torque. Likewise, the 2.0 liter petrol variant is boosted from 252 hp and 370 Nm to 330 horsepower with 440 Nm of torque. Audi engines, regardless of their size, always have great potential for upgrade.

ABT Sportline, as you may know, is not very fond of visual modifications and prefers to leave the body largely intact. But the changes they have implemented on the ABT Audi A4 Avant to make it handle better have indirectly enhanced the styling as well. We’re talking about height adjustable suspension springs and 19 and 20 inch wheels. Of course, should you decide you want a bit more joie de vivre, ABT can supply you with a front lip add on, a front grille add on with air inlet panels, fender inserts and a rear skirt set and four-pipe exhaust pipes.

ABT Sportline, that Audi tuner who always maintains a balance between power and style, has come up with an upgrade kit for the SQ5 SUV. With model Audi has attempted, somewhat in vain, to make the Q5 less dull and boring. What ABT Audi SQ5 does is show them how it’s done.

So right off the bat the tuner gets busy with the engines in both diesel and petrol variants and gives them a swift kick in the backside. The 313 horsepower diesel in the TDI Plus model now has 360 hp and a torque of 700 Nm (up from 650), while the 3.0 liter TFSI petrol unit gets a boost from 326 hp to a nice and round 380 horsepower, complemented with 780 Nm (up from 700 Nm) of peak torque.

With the power taken care of the tuner set about improving the aesthetics as well as dynamics of ABT Audi SQ5. So a kit was designed and fashioned for the car, consisting of front skirt, front grille, door strip attachments, fender extensions and a rear wing, and it was paired with a set of ABT Sportline wheels, which can choose from the CR, DR, ER-C and FR series and in sizes 20, 21 or even 22 inch. ABT Sound Control and height adjustable suspension system are among the other highlights of the program.

And we do mean nasty. It’s not like when you use a negative adjective as a cool way of praising something. This time nasty means nasty, as in horrible, awful, crappy. Just have a listen to the sounds this ABT Audi RS6 makes thanks to its straight-piped dekat Milltek exhaust. It’s just a loud noise that is the exhaust opposite of a sonorous sound, which is the whole point of getting a custom exhaust system.

The system on this ABT Audi RS6 is set up to just be loud and make everybody look at the car as it goes by. What the owner doesn’t realize is that it’s not a good look people are giving him. They are cursing him under their breath for ruining their day with the nasty sound of his car.

We are all for tuned cars and sport exhaust systems, but even we think the Police should impound this thing and revoke the owner’s driver’s license. Sorry mate. Your car sounds nasty. Just nasty.
